Shove Chapel Wedding Pictures

I love church weddings, especially at big old churches, like Shove Chapel. This amazing church was built by Mr. John Gray in 1930. He also designed a number of buildings in New England, as well as St. Martin’s Chapel, at St. John’s Cathedral in Denver and he also designed the Ida Noyes Building for the University of Chicago.

Love was in the air this weekend at the Shove Chapel at Colorado College in Colorado Springs. This nondenominational place of worship is open from 7am to 10pm every day! A wedding at this historic church only costs $1200.00 and you can add on an extra hour for only $200.  Keep in mind there is no air conditioning, so it can get warm inside in the summer.

Here is a sneak peak at Alexis and Kyle’s wedding photography:

One of Colorado College’s best-kept secrets is the top of Shove’s bell tower – gives one of the best views of campus!
