I think Jackson Hole, Wyoming has some of the most amazing outdoor mountain wedding venues in the entire country and I feel so blessed to be able to work at them!
There are a wide variety of locations for destination weddings, both inside Grand Teton National Park and outside of it… From the luxurious Jackson Hole Mountain Resort to the more adventurous location of Schwabacher’s Landing, I know them all. It can be very overwhelming to choose one when there are so many amazing options for wedding venues in the Tetons. As one of the top wedding photographers based in the Jackson Hole area, I know the area very well and I would be happy to share my knowledge about the options for ceremony sites and reception sites.
I also know that planning a wedding or intimate elopement can be very stressful, so I am also happy to provide recommendations for the best wedding vendors in town.
I love living just down the road from this an intimate, rustic wedding venue! Dornans which is in Moose, Wyoming is a great venue for a laid back western feel reception. They are located near the Snake River inside Grand Teton National Park have some really amazing views of the tetons.
Here are some photos from the venue in the fall…Seriously, tepees and wagons, could it get any better?
Which mountain in the teton range is your favorite? Mine has to be Grand Teton sitting at 13,775 ft! It is just so iconic, every time I see it it takes my breath away, it doesn’t even look real.
Here at Sheena Harper Photography, we are photographers for an adventurous mountain weddings, but sometimes there are churches in them hills, much like this one. Ones that blend right into the rugged old west feel of town. Catholic Church weddings (or church weddings of any kind for that matter) in Jackson Hole, Wyoming are more unique than most churches. This rustic catholic church is located in the foothills just south of Grant Teton National Park, near Snow King Resort and is quite appealing to many couples. Our Lady of the Mountains is perfect for those who are seeking adventure, as well as some formal pictures from a church wedding on a budget. The rental fee for the church is only $1,500.00!

Anyone who knows me, knows that Jackson Hole Wyoming and Grand Teton National Park are some my favorite places on earth!
Last month I had the opportunity to meet up with some fellow photographers in Yellowstone and of course I spend a few days in Jackson on the way up.
If you haven’t been to the Chapel of Transfiguration before, it’s a must see! Nothing compares to the view from here, especially in the fall!
