Senior pictures season is one of my favorite times of year. It is so energizing for me to get to meet so many new people and work closely with them to plan their sessions. For my wedding photography, someone else is usually doing all the planning and styling the actual session, so I really enjoy it when I get to be a little more hands on with my seniors.
For this session we went out to a private fishing club called Bison Reservoir in the south east corner of Teller County, near Victor, Colorado. The colors and temperatures were absolutely amazing, we couldn’t have had better weather for this portrait session. One of the best things about Bison is the variety of options for backdrops. There were old buildings, rock formations, roads covered in leaves, and of course there was the lake. I wish I didn’t have to leave, I could live back there forever. This was definitely one of my all time favorite places to make outdoor photos in the Woodland Park area! There are so many great photos I don’t know what to share, but for now I will leave you with this one.
